Truede dyr som holdes ulovlig blir konfiskert av den indonesiske Forestry Department og plassert i ARC. The purpose of the ARC is to care for the wildlife with the aim of rehabilitating the animals and releasing them back into the wild
It is a big facility, with enclosures for many species.
Currently there are a variety of exotic animals, including primates (gibbon, blad ape, langsom Loris), og fugler (Victorian Crown Pigeon,Cassowary,Hjelm Friar Bird,Crested Serpent Eagle, White Belied Sea Eagle, Red Sided Eclectus, Eleanora Cockatoo, Citron Crested Cockatoo, Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, Palm Cockatoo, Mollucan cockatoo).
