Volunteer in Bali’s Animal Rescue Centre

Bali’s only wildlife Animal Rescue Centre (ARC) / Pusat Penyelamatan Satwa (PPS) is located in Tabanan, Bali. It is 1 of only 7 in all of Indonesia.

Endangered animals that are being kept illegally are confiscated by the Indonesian Forestry Department and housed in the ARC. The purpose of the ARC is to care for the wildlife with the aim of rehabilitating the animals and releasing them back into the wild

It is a big facility, with enclosures for many species.
Currently there are a variety of exotic animals, including primates (gibbon, leaf monkey, slow loris), and birds (Victorian Crown Pigeon, Cassowary, Helmeted Friar Bird, Crested Serpent Eagle, White Belied Sea Eagle, Red Sided Eclectus, Eleanora Cockatoo, Citron Crested Cockatoo, Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, Palm Cockatoo, Mollucan cockatoo).
It is a big facility, with enclosures for many and all size animals.
