Give a student an education
You can help a young person to attend school or university. A donation of US$25 can support a child’s schooling for a month, while $300 can provide support for a year. A gift of $85 can help a young person attend university for a month, while $1,000 allows them to participate for a year.
Give today and support FNFP’s scholarship program, which provides financial support to young people from disadvantaged families living on Bali’s Nusa Penida island and in Kalimantan, Borneo. Our scholarships are one of the ways we give back to the communities who support our work and help us protect endangered birds and wildlife.
Village leaders nominate students for our school scholarships, and we encourage them to select girls, who have fewer opportunities to access education. For university scholarships, young people must have a strong interest in conservation and community activities and intend to study in a related field. To be eligible, students must be among the top in their year.
We currently sponsor more than 65 students thanks to our generous supporters, including the Humane Society International (Australia) and Rotary Club Bali Seminyak. Your support will help us put even more young people through the program.
