Conservation apprentices for a day in Kalimantan, Borneo

This group of young children, who live near Lamandau River Wildlife Reserve in Kalimantan, Borneo, recently spent the day with us at one of our conservation project sites.

The children, from a school in Sungai Pasir 3 village, spent the day learning about conservation, Indonesia’s endangered wildlife and reforestation.

The Friends of the National Parks Foundation (FNPF) team and the children had a great time. Scroll down to check out their day in pictures.

Our work in Kalimantan has been possible thanks to our donors, including the HumaneSociety International (Australia), who has supported us for more than 14 years,  BoeingTaronga FoundationBuy One Give OneSave Indonesian Endangered SpeciesEco Future Fund  Japan, and many others.
